Courtney Wotherspoon holds a BFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. She works as a freelance illustrator, designer and all-around creative creature in Toronto, with clients including The New York Times, Chatelaine, The Walrus, SPIN, EnRoute, Nylon, Toronto Flower Market, and LCBO. Her editorial and personal work have both been recognized and published by American Illustration (annuals 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30), Coupe Magazine, and countless blogs and online media. Courtney’s mixed-media drawings and paintings have been exhibited in shows from Toronto to Calgary, New York to The Philippines, as well as in living rooms across North America. Her work has more recently crossed the lines of illustration into interiors, textiles, lifestyle design and curating, with a focus on spotlighting art in the everyday.
